Aubrey's corporate experience includes ...

* Running European Sales as Director of the Advanced Ceramics Division
(Sales Budget $300M - 120 Staff covering all European countries including Eastern Europe, Israel and South Africa).

The challenge was to protect prices against erosion in highly competitive markets. Aubrey succeeded by introducing direct customer liaison between senior production managers and key customers resulting in increased customer satisfaction, reducing pressure for price erosion from competitors and creating cost saving measures.

* Running global Sales & Marketing for a division valued at $250M and with 100 staff as a member of the International Management Team

Aubrey's role was to manage the transition from local/regional business to a global business. This included the complete restructuring of the marketing function including the formation of 'Global Product Managers' for product lines, re-organising the role of the regional sales managers and installing Global Key Account and Distribution management.

* Managing (within the team responsible) the transfer and subsequent restructuring of a Philips division valued at €650M to a Taiwanese corporation

The challenge was, as Project leader for the Sales Team, to look at the effects of the transfer on the Sales function worldwide, and to ensure both Sales and Marketing remained effective during and after the transfer.

* UK Sales & Marketing Director for a UK activity which included managing the European distribution network

The challenge was to achieve rapid growth within the business. Erosion of traditional markets was undermining the viability due to the need to decrease costs as a percentage of sales. By focusing the sales team effort onto key customers, emerging market segments and new applications the sales turnover was increased by a factor of 4 in less than three years.
